Trainer ride, 8/2 hard/easy pattern after 10 minute warm up
Treadmill after bike trainer. This was supposed to be a run, but the IT band hurt right from the first step. I ran for about three minutes and then quit. Even walking made it burn, so I quit that after 20 minutes too. I'm just a big quitter today. :(

Back at work today, and a hellish one at that. I have to give the same presentation three times today, and catch up on a zillion emails. It's going to take me a bit to get caught up on inspires and such...

Holy CRAP did this day/evening just fall apart! When I was just getting in the door at 9:45 pm, I knew there was going to be no workout today. In my defense, however, I did go to the lap pool at 7:30 only to discover that there is no lap swim tonight (holiday, apparently).

Short ride at the Y; younger daughter requested a trip to the Y this morning, but she loses interest before too long. :)
This ended up being just a bad, sad day.
I planned to go to BodyPump this morning and then ride the trainer before heading to the airport. That all got forgotten though, when we had to put one of our dogs down today. It was so sad. He had been ill recently and went downhill so markedly in the last two days that it was time. It was still awful, though. And no sooner did we get back from the vet, and I had to leave the very sad kids and go sit on a plane for 20 hours. It totally sucked.
We'll miss you Sparky!
