Got Big Red on the trainer pretty easily today. Some days she's a bitch, some days she likes it. Oh well, just like a woman.
Taper tips people! Its so hard to accept that I just haven't done enough and to stop trying to get in what I can.
Went to Target to get a microwave. Roommate moved out about a week ago (I guess? Don't really remember! I thought today was Tuesday--thats where I am mentally) and took our microwave. Been doing fine without it, but I had leftover Pappasitos that I just couldn't bear to throw in the trash, I HAD to eat it....so....off to buy a new one! Sigh, what we do for food.

Lifted weights while I waited for the old ladies to clear the pool.
Did pull ups and dips too.
Got the the gym, really excited about my swim then possibly a run if I had time. Change, get all my crap, walk to the pool.....water aerobics! WTF??!!! I should have checked the schedule before I left the house. So, instead of leaving like I thought about doing, I just changed into my running gear and ran first. There was a line for the treadmills so I couldn't run 5 like I wanted so I had to give my treadmill to someone else. I really hate running on treadmills anyway. Lifted weights, then went to swim. Had to cut my swim short because it was getting late, but I really enjoyed being in the pool.
weighed myself on the scale I always use at the gym....140! Wow...I was hovering around 145 most of the summer, don't know what happened, but I'll take it. Looks like I won't be switching to athena for the race. (If I was about 145, I was going to drown myself in water and wear heavy clothes to weigh in to race athena)
back to logging training...and training!!

Bad luck traveling last night. Finally figured it was karma for booking my boss and his family on the wrong flight--to the wrong city--they didn't realize until they were on the plane. Yep...not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Actually ran over the weekend!!
Tried to set up my trainer for a ride, had another fight with it. I'm really starting to not like anything associated with my trainer. Big Red decided she didn't want to be in the trainer and fell on me. Cuts on my shoulder from my water bottle cage on my seat and a bruise. Will try again later.
Went to bed at 8:30. So tired from waking up at 4am and working late.

One of those nights where I couldn't sleep. Too many things on my mind. Got some good phone time in with my parents though. They can't wait for me to move...."you're too far away"...they're so sweet, I miss them.
I'm having a "fat-ass" day. My ass feels fat today. Not any other part of my body, I don't feel fat in general, I just think my ass looks fat today. Kinda wierd, maybe its the pants-paisley isn't slimming. Oh well!!
