GOOD LUCK IMAZ ATHLETES!!!
I'm really upset I can't be there to race and even more upset I can't jockstrap. Thankfully my best friends are there for Jess, Jeff and everyone else.

I BLEW my previous 5k PR out of the water yesterday. Or blew it out like the back blast from a rocket launcher... ;) heh.

5k fun run at the fitness center here on post. They put on one a month. I felt like I had a terrible run, I walked twice and there weren't mile markers. I slowed down a LOT so I think I went out at a 6:30 pace...ooops. I fell off that before the first mile I'm sure. Anyway, I am happy with my time considering it was a bad mental race.

RACING AGAIN!!

I'm so happy! They're just 5k's but the company is supportive of it and there is a group of about 10-20 that are consistently going. We've done 3 in the past month. I'll try to write the race report from today and the one from last weekend sometime in the next day or two.

I'm happy with my time for this one considering my mental game wasn't there. Not having mile markers sucks and my Garmin isn't working. :( Oh well, I got to leave the Drill Sgt's for the morning AND run. Good times.

After the race we hung out at the gym and had fruit, then I hopped on the stationary bike and kicked my own butt for about 20 minutes. I worked up more sweat on there than during the run. Good times. Came back to the company, got more clothes and went back to swim. It was awesome. I've finally found some girls that like to go to the gym (read: have no life either) so I have some workout buddies.

Oh, I almost broke my wrist playing volleyball last week. I'm trying to learn to like the sport, but I never have. We have a sand court right downstairs so its fun to go and play when we have a free evening.
