April 30

Wow...what a weekend. It was slow and relaxing but I'm still really tired. I got a terrible night of sleep last night.

Saturday was fun with Aaron, short but fun. My head was still hurting me so I wasn't very good company. Sunday I spent the day with my aunt and uncle who came to visit and we had a nice brunch.

Not much PT for me these last couple of days because I'm on the dreaded "profile."

Holy sh*t guy! Its Friday, 10am and I'm sitting on the floor next to my rack (bunk) in my bathing suit playing on the internet! :) We have the day off from training for whatever reason and I'm just hanging out.

Why am I in my bathing suit? Well, besides the obvious (that I'm crazy) I just miss the beach and not wearing clothes when you don't feel like it. Our uniforms are hot! Long pants and jacket always. I'll post some pictures sometime soon, in the next week or two since I have a new camera now. :)

No real workouts for me this weekend, or no running anyway. I got hurt yesterday in combatives practice (like wrestling/fighting). I have a sinus infection and apparently I got thrown around in a match. We have people call you out if they want to fight you. Well, a male called me out for the first fight. I don't remember hitting my head but I guess I did. I ended up dizzy with a severe headache an hour or so after and an hour after that I could barely walk. The Dr. said that the fluid in my head and inner ear was causing problems and I have a retracted eardrum thats causing the equilibrium problems. On a bunch of med's but I'll be ok in a couple of days. So, everyone is going to Six Flags today but not me, roller coasters are the last thing I need right now....so, just weights and maybe situps and pushups if my head can handle it.

April 21, 2007: wow.

I'm pretty darn happy with my run times. Now, my endurance is nowhere near where it used to be, but I'm working on it.

No PT today since I'm in the computer lab taking a monthly survey for a study that I'm in. Thats all.

Some guy went AWOL from my platoon. He left for 47 hours to spend time with his girlfriend. 45/45: 45 days restriction, cut in pay. I hope the sex was worth it.

April 24

Hopefully I'll start logging workouts every couple of days. I've been working out on my own everyday, I just don't have time to get to the computer.
