Tried to do my 10 mile long run today, but did not make it. My knee flared up about the 6 mile mark and that was that. Of course this was about the farthest point from my house, but at least I was able to take a short cut back. And right on cue my MP3 player played Eminem, Til I Collapse...
I'll call doctor first thing Monday morning.

Lunch Hour - Picked up my meds, popped a pill, pulled on my running shoes and ran what was left of my lunch hour.
Trainer - Aero base I Spinerval. All small chain ring.
The good news is that I can resume training! The bad news is that I have arthritis in my knees.
I'm still shocked and never would have suspected that's what it was. I was convinced it was an overuse injury that needed rest. Ah well, my path is in front of me not behind me. My guess is that I'm not the only triathlete with arthritis. To be sure, people race with far more challenging conditions than this. Moving forward...
