Last racewalk clinic. I have improved in the past month. I have long way to go. I need to work on: hip rotation, arm position and action, and not flattening my feet so fast upon contact.

Tonight is my last racewalk clinic then straight to bed. Sinus headache last night was really getting to me by the time I went to bed. I hope the sinuses clear up soon.

Longest ride of the season on the trainer! Right knee started out sore but loosened up (iced good afterwards) Kept a pretty steady cadence (starting in the low 80's finishing in the low 90's) Kept HR under 140 until the last 5 minutes. Max mph- 18.7

Horrible swim! I don't know if it is the slight cold, the being over worked at work, or something else but the swim today just sucked - BIG TIME. The positive side was I kept going when it would have been easy to quit and say it was an easy day.

My legs are a little sore this morning. Nothing that moving around a bit won't take care of but I did push things a bit this weekend. The weather is looking up this week. Maybe I'll be on the road in a month.

The extra rest yesterday and last night felt good. Man I wish spring would get here - I am sooooooo tired of being cold (and it isn't even very cold here right now). Recieved a bunch of checks yesterday towards my fundraiser. I've almost made my Mar. 1 goal. Of course that is only 1/3 of the way but I haven't tapped any local corporate sponsors yet either.

I'm feeling very run down. This ride was doomed even before I got on the bike. I'll be turning in early tonight to get some rest. It has been a long hard week.

Last night I took the night off and worked on a couple of coperate sponsors for the fundraiser. My mp3 player came (yeah!) and i stabbed my thumb with the scissors opening the box (boo!). Stupid. I was really tired (either work out schedule or work schedule or both) so I hit the hay early.

I'm a little sore and tired today. Most likely a combo of things (work, family, training) adding together. Came home last night to an unexpected surprise. My parents donated $100 to my Charities Challenge fundraiser and wrote a very encouraging note with it. Made my day.
