I had a really good race!  My time is 17 minutes faster than my first triathlon, which I think is a huge improvement.  Most of this is due to improvements on running and biking.  I'm quite proud of my performance!

Swimming felt good.  I was impressed by my 300 times (race distance for Sunday!).  Took my HR after the second one - about 160.  That might be a little high afterwards for getting out of the pool and going to the bike, but it came down pretty quick, so I think I'll be okay at the pace I went.

Good swim today. I felt pretty good in the water. My 200s were originally going to be 500s, but after about 100m I couldn't see through my goggles anymore. Need to go pick up some anti-fog drops to take care of that. I like my goggles and they aren't scratched so I'd rather not replace them.

Tried out my tri suit for the first time today. It fits pretty well. I probably could have worn the smaller size, but I don't think I'd be happy with the way my body looks and I think it would be way too tight around my legs. I got some really strange looks from people in the pool, especially the two college kids who thought they were "hardcore" (can I call them swimmies?). Honestly, I don't even care anymore. I probably would have about a year ago, but I just don't anymore. I know what I need to do and I'm there to do it for a reason. Who cares what they think?

Talked to my doc about the migraines. We're switching the meds to prevent them and I get to get a CT scan next week. I hope they'll give me a picture of my brain. That would be so cool!

My bike ride went well.  I was pretty fast on the first lap.  Going out on the second lap, I started to drag, especially up the hills.  But, I made up for it on the way back in.  This is the fastest I've been in a long time.  It feels good!
