Good day for something different, so Mary and I biked the Kalhaven trail out 12 miles east and back. What a beautiful day to ride! Pretty coolish in the shade, but nice and warm in the sun. Soon, those tree colors will start.

The trail is crushed limestone, so Mary rode the mountain bike and I rode my cx bike. Sure took a lot of vibration up through that steel fork. I really need to replace that with carbon some day soon.

Well, I finally eeked out a 10-minute pace on the treadmill for almost 5k's. To be honest, I find the treadmill mind-numbing and dull, but I need to continue at least for a month before pounding pavement on my re-healed back.
