I'm taking a break today, so I only taught my class. Tomorrow will be a rest day too. Trying to incorporate rest to get my sleep back to normal. Meeting with a running coach on Sat. Yeah, just got my tri-suit in the mail!!!

10 minute warm-up; 6-5 minute intervals at 85%, 1 minute easy in between; 10 minute cool down. Feels better each time.

Got up before daylight and ran. It was 83 degrees and 100% humidity at 5:30am! It wasn't bad for running, though. Saw two deer, lots of bats, an owl in flight and the same wild pig (still dead, only bigger and stinkier). Started wondering what I would do if I saw a live wild pig, cause goodness knows I couldn't out run it.

It was hot in the pool today, did less cardio with my class because they were dying from the heat. Worked on core stability and arms. After class I had a nice 1500 swim. I am now officially going to purchase my tri-suit. Whoohoo.

New bike seems faster, but the saddle hurts....will have to explore other options. 10 of my 14 miles were on gravel, so I have no idea if I am just really slow or if the gravel makes a huge difference.

All with the body bar.

Had to scrap the ow swim, emergency with one of the businesses and husband had to go....so no beach today. Nice ride, though. Saw osprey and a heron taller than I am. Saw many alligators and a wild pig (dead-yuck).

I think I have caught some sort of tri-virus...all I think about is my next training......the race.....shopping for gear.....I love it. Tried my new bike shoes with my pimped out bike....never tried cleats before-not bad. Easier to get out of than to get into. Like the feel of them....getting so psyched...cracker's race got me all excited...can't wait.

Will try to fit in a long swim later today...big brick tomorrow. Had a crazy swim, should count as OW, even though I was in the pool. I was surrounded by 100 camp kids armed with noodles. The waves were tremendous and the interference was just on the verge of annoying.......probably like my ocean swim will be in Sept....good practice.
