Good class today, younger crowd so we bammed it up a bit.

Up early to meet with my running coach and then off to teach my class. Super busy day....but fun-busy. Sciatica acting up after speed work today, must seriously stretch. Company coming for dinner, so I'm off to cook and clean and then drink and eat. Whew-can't wait.

This run included a two minute walk at the beginning (someone talking to me) and a six minute cool down walk at 4mph. So....actually I ran two eleven minute miles AFTER being on the e. trainer for 40 minutes. Oh yeah, I'm faster, I'm faster....oh yeah.

Ave. heartrate right at 140....the e.t. is gettting too easy for me...had a hard time getting my heartrate up and keeping it there. Must run more.

Lost power last night for 12 hours. Came back on just as it was getting uncomfortably hot in the house. Hadn't planned on drinking last night, but with no electricity and thirsty neighbors without electricity, it just happened. So may not drink tonight when I go out with the laydeees. I'll be the driver, dang it. Also lost my voice-this happens to me about once a year due to not being miked when I teach my class. Vocal abuse stinks. Kids and husband happy about it.

Rest day! Had to end my class 15 minutes early today because of chemical problem in the pool....okay, not a chemical problem, a kid pooped in the pool. So we gladly got out. Yuck. Nice brick planned for tomorrow and then look out Savannah, it "ladies' night out"!

Run felt great after the bike today. Drank gatoraid afterwards and had no heatstroke issues today...yippee! 6 minute walking cool down and 4 minute stretch.

My favorite workout! I love being on the spin bike in the spin room all alone...it's dark and everything is under the blue lights and glowing. I jam the music and all I can see is the white clock and my shoelaces. Lots of sweat, lots of fun. Hopped on the treadmill next and my run felt great (albeit,slow) today. More sweat, more fun. I just love how my body feels when I'm done...amazing. Plan: RUN MORE

Good class and good swim. All of the camp kids and other assorted kids have gotten out of the pool and gone back to school! Yippee....makes for a calmer class and a super-calm swim. I was the only one in the pool for the first 1/2 hour of my swim, then another swimmer came and it was just the two of us.

Went to the beach...Creepy fish-jumpin OWS with choppy water and strong currents...it was a blast.

This was my first all-road ride, up until now I've been mainly on the gravel or on a spin bike. Nice new place to ride just a few miles from my house-called Hutchinson Island. It used to be a place where they held old (like 1940's) formula 3 races. Now it is a super fancy resort/spa/convention center/golf course. Was able to loop the island 2.5 times before I had to head home. NO traffic whatsoever (it was 7:30am)and just beautiful scenery. No wildlife either, whew. Not sure why I was so slow on the bike today, maybe still suffering from yesterday's dehydration or maybe it was the beer at last night's Sand Gnats' game.....? Probably both. Fun, anyway.
