Due to an underestimation in the support factor of my undergarment choices, I could not run....ended up on the elliptical trainer set at 11 resistance, ave. 160 rpms, ave.Hr was 148....so basically, I kicked booty.

Just a comment on the gym scene.....I thought the boring factor of 9am (stay at home moms and retirees) was the worst time to work out, but I was so wrong. From 4-5pm there is a blended nasty guy crowd....mostly high school boys (walking hormones) and scary guys with Hooters tee shirts and cut off denim shorts....so gross.

Picked up the packet....drove the route, very flat, shady, nice. It is a huge triangle, so only 3 turns and traffic will be completely closed off. Freaked a bit when I saw the transition area, about a million times more people do this race than the one I volunteered for in July. Microchips, rules, the real deal. I am so ready. Just mark my body and let me go already. Tired, but PSYCHED. Off for my beauty rest. Going to HH today to pick up race packet and walk the run/bike course, as well as check out the chop of the ocean. Whooohooooo!
