Took the dog out for a brief walk...all I could manage, very tired today. A lot of driving this weekend.
This week starts my 'new' monitored nutrition. Basically the same stuff I have been eating, only less carbs and more recording stuff. I tried it for a few days last week and it was VERY easy to do.... just got a little sidetracked with the wacky schedule this weekend and lack of energy to fight the pushers at the Easter table. Still working out the kinks and tweaking stuff......a working mom is a different lifestyle than a stay-at-home, workout-freak mom. It'll come, no doubts.
At least one etrainer and one bike trainer workout this week, with a swim and a run on the weekend. Whew, I'm tired peeps.
Ran on a beautiful 8 mile trail in Fayetteville with Doug. I was mentally READY to run, we had been looking for a place to run and found the perfect spot...but by the time we found it I NEEDED to run. I get antsy and twitchy. The only problem was that although I was mentally ready to run, my body forgot to cooperate. I am just going accept this as a bad run day...I've had one or two others and a few swims, where it just wasn't working. But the scenery,company, and weather were unbeatable.
