Run on the treadmill. Took a break at one hour to go to the ladies room, walk around, etc. Then got back on for the last 30 minutes. I had a park run planned, but my sitter got sick, so I ended up on the treadmill. I need a long outside run soon! But this did the trick of getting my head back in the right place-a goooood sweat.

GREAT run (although not a long run) at the state park. I got caught up in the "check your kids in" at the Y for parents night out and didn't get to the trail until 7:15. Since I had to run a shorter amount of time, I focused on leg turnover and speed. Here's what I did:
Warm-up: 10 minutes jogging
Sprint Interval: 3 x run @ 85% 30 seconds/run @ 60% 30 seconds.
Recovery: Run @ 60% 1 minute, walk 1 minute. Repeat a skillion times until I got back to my car. It was actually fun...inspite of the fact that I forgot my iPod and had to use Sophie's (Age 8). I was jammin to the chipmonks, baby.
Taught two classes, will count some as resistance training and some as stretching.
