Main set of 5x400m was mainly concentrating on maintaining a consistent spl (+/- 2 strokes, times are only there as a side point) which seemed to work quite well as the first set of 400 and the last both had spl's of 32 with the odd 1 length slipping to 34.

Legs felt a little tired this morning

Longest run in quite a while so took it easy to start with. Guess I was picking up the pace as time went on without realising. Last 8 mins was a bit of a struggle, but nothing slowing down a bit couldn't solve.

Thought I was going to break 18mph as I was at 18.1mph at the 17.5mile mark, but the last 3 miles was mainly uphill and dragged the average screaming back down to 17.5 :(. That said, hit a new top speed of 40.4mph :D

Disappointing run. Was meant to be 50mins but my legs just didn't seem to have any energy and it seemed to be taking more out of me than the pace would suggest. Hoping it was due to the 90% humidity, but could just as easily be the week's training taking it's toll.
