Couldn't use freestyle the entire time, but probably did about 80%. Very little kick, but concentrated on form, high elbow, pull, and rotation. Very tired, but pleased! I think I am now moving a bit faster than the kids using floaties!

Used paddles for my 200m CD.

Added the Legion Road Hill to the standard Parkton Loop. My lap times are lower due to having to wait on stop lights and traffic. Otherwise, I think this would be more like avg spd 18+ mph and my time would likely drop a minute or slightly more. Cadence would similarly increase from 76rpm to approximately 87rpm.

I did some freestyle drills working on my stroke form. I notice that I am not kicking much and often times, I'm merely moving along without using any kick. I concentrated on my hip rotation, reach, and pull this afternoon.

All in all, I feel my freestyle is improving, even though I've only been experimenting for 3 sessions. I haven't been able to use this stroke previously and I do notice a time reduction from previous 100m swims.
