Got up early and ran on the beach today. I tried to stay in the compact sand as much as possible. My calves are screaming at me for running that far on sand. My right calf is tender and I might need to skip Core class in the morning to recover.

Did core class from 6-7AM, lots of running, crunches, lunges and dips today. Then had to travel to a Regional meeting in South Padre Island. Had a chance to use my new T1 Black Pearl wetsuit in the Gulf. I must have looked crazy putting on a wetsuit with the temp over 95 and high humidity. The water was most likely over legal temps for a race. However, I had to try it in an ocean setting to get some practice for IM Florida. It was easier than I thought, even with a strong rip tide and high winds/waves.

Bricked it today due to the rain forecast, we went to the Rec Center to swim, then my garage for the trainer session and run. Tough, tough day and humid but a great hard workout.
