Took my V)2 MAX test in Bethesda Navy and will await results either today or next week. Thanks again sbrDave for the information...will tell you all about the test and NNMC Gym later as I had to rash back to work and yet worked another long long day...

Spent time with the family for Memorial day. Grilled traut and veggies and made some good ol Filipino garlic rice! :)

Ran at the C&O Canal today from my house and turned between mile 51 and 52. About a few minutes after that I hear a "Hey Chris.." which was good to hear cause most of the time the only sound I hear at teh C&O Canal when I'm running is a voice yelling "TO YOUR LEFT TURTLE BOY..." So anyway, I turn around and Man alive it's my Frederick Tri Club Prez Dave, (BT member sbrDave) The funny thing is Dave was there for a "recovery run" and so I decided oh okay I'll just go his pace...I forget the guys has done a gazillion HIMs and ultras that his recover pace might as well be my race pace..LoL...hey I was glad I tried to stick tio his pace as he did boost up my run a little bit and it felt good...I was tired but I still could hold a conversation which is a welcome thing when you're running alone. Dave and I always have good conversations and 99.9% of the time it's about triathlon and his mentoring me just made me realize how much he has helped me in all aspects of this beautiful sport. I even tyold him he should be a coach cause he has a knack for knowing exactly what type training a person has given the level of that person. I hope he does coach someday.....I'm sure there will be more conversations with Dave and I tell you after we part ways, I'm, always left with some good information or lesson! Nice sharing the tow pathn with you Dave!
