A great ride today, very warm even with the 7am start. It was a ride with more hills than I have ever done before, some really good ones too, I managed to stay seated for all of them, and though it was tough work, it felt good and helps solidify my decision on whether or not to sign up for Ironman Canada, next year.

Not a great run, more mental strength, very muggy, calves were crampy and I had to stop to stretch them out halfway through the run.

step up with a crunch
squat with shot put twist using 10lb weight
pushups
tricep dips
crunches
pendulum leg drops

Time to start adding the core/strength training back into my routine. I haven't done much more than swim / bike / run for the past several months. I did do a squat challenge for 2 months, and could feel the results in my running & biking, but feeling like my core is getting sloppy lately.

Going to do my best to do interval training 3-4 times a week, with both strength and cardio, with one of those times incorporating speed work at the track.

Sunday - June 23
