My alarm went off at 4:05... I hit the snooze button. It went off again and I turned it off, planning on getting up... alas, I fell back asleep until 5:15. Oh well, I haven't missed a workout in a long time and I didn't take any days off since my 20 mile run on Saturday and I have been fighting a pretty nasty cold this week. Perhaps falling back to sleep was my body's way of telling me I need some rest.
I might make it up this afternoon or evening or on Friday, my usual day off, but in the grand scheme of things, how much does a 45 minute-1 hour bike ride on the trainer really matter? I'll be back at it tomorrow.

This was one of the hardest running workouts I have ever done... by far.
I jogged an easy slow mile to 25a (not recorded on the Garmin) so I could start out on some hills. First 4 miles on N. Country rd up and down hills.
After the hills and when my legs were sufficiently tired, I alternated hard (3 fast 2 slow) and easy miles on flat 25a.
I finished out the run with a very slow, very easy 2.6 miles back home.
400 MILES
It's only mid April and I have already reached 400 miles running this year.... almost half of what I did all of last year.
