I'm pretty beat up. In retrospect, I probably should have taken today off. I moved at least 3 yards of topsoil yesterday and cleared a previously brush-filled area in the side yard. My whole body is sore. I don't know how people do manual labor like this every day.
More of the same today.

Fastest 1000 yard Swim Time: 17:36.46
-----
1000 - 17:36
1000 - 19:27 Focusing on form and relaxed steady breathing. Some front quadrant work as well.
A new PR in the pool!!! I am so excited about this because it proves my theory that, for me at least, taking some time off of swimming each year is not going to kill my overall swim fitness. I wasn't even planning on doing a TT but when I checked my watch after 300 yards I was at 5:15 and I new I had an outside shot at a pr so I went for it.

Pretty decent race. Trying to keep remembering that, "The time you have is more important than the time you get."

I would really like to get a half marathon PR tomorrow. I went back and looked at my logs from the week leading up to my previous half pr and found something interesting. I ran 2 miles the day before in 16:33. Very fast for me. So I got it in my head that I would try to beat that today... close, 2 miles in 16:39. I know I should have gone easy, but I feel ready and confident because I know race pace will actually be slower than I ran today.
