Pushed myself harder today than I have in almost all of my workouts this year. Pushed really hard on the 3rd mile and coasted the last 2+. It really makes me think about how I have trained for this marathon. Perhaps I didn't push myself as hard as I could have throughout my training. I did 90% of my runs within my comfort level...

This was one of the hardest running workouts I have ever done... by far.
I jogged an easy slow mile to 25a (not recorded on the Garmin) so I could start out on some hills. First 4 miles on N. Country rd up and down hills.
After the hills and when my legs were sufficiently tired, I alternated hard (3 fast 2 slow) and easy miles on flat 25a.
I finished out the run with a very slow, very easy 2.6 miles back home.
400 MILES
It's only mid April and I have already reached 400 miles running this year.... almost half of what I did all of last year.
