No rest between sets here... Or very very minimal rest.

Short ride up the path. Was running out of daylight, so I cut it a bit short.

15/3... bike/run tonight after work.
How about 13/2? Ran out of time and daylight. I know I can run after dark, I just get a little creeped out on the path.

LONG! HOT! BUGGY! But it's finished, and it's offically my longest run EVER.
If I never wear that Amphipod again, it will be too soon. I need something else... maybe a fuel belt?

Went to the gas station to get bags of ice so I could have a proper ice bath. Drank a blueberry recovery smoothie with protein, and now I'm off to take a nap. I'm quite exhausted.

Really mentally trying. Was going great on the way out, but I had a really hard time keeping up on the way back... and I got dropped AGAIN.
Swore at myself, considered quitting (although at some point I'd have to start again in order to get home!) and vowed to never ride this stupid bike again.
I pulled into Katie's driveway and announced... FCUK THIS... I'm not running. And she said "You have to! You can't DNF your workout..." and for some reason this struck a chord, so I shuffled/ran and did what might be considered a T-run. NOT FEELING THE LOVE. Very hot, very humid, very sweaty and salty. Very terrible.
I need a nap. Ice bath on the legs first, then a shower and nap. 
Not a happy person today. Definitely a low point in my training "career".
Oh, and my a$$ hurts.
And tomorrow is a 12-14 mile run. Joy.

REST! 
Trained my competitive shopping skills today. Went to the Outlet Mall with my friend from Houston and her sister... bought the cutest Kate Spade purse... and a bunch of other stuff too... and a new pair of Oakleys... and... and.... Oh Lord. I can't even remember what I all bought. An exhausting long day... as tiring as any race I've done recently. Now, off to bed... 65/3 tomorrow. Yee Haw.
