Open water swim at lake anna. Time & distance very approximate. Met up with kristen (enders_shadow) and talked about how we don't like open water swimming and race next weekend. Was a good time. Wore the kids out. Wore us out. Going to bed early.

Swim felt OK - it was choppy. I realized I don't like OWS because I feel like I'm not moving. I don't have the usual clues that tell me I am moving. Got lots of practice sighting, swimming through chop. I guess it was good.

Nutrition seemed fine (although I stopped to eat the cliff bar - don't know if I could eat it in the race. But I feel like I want something more like real food than gels.)
Total calories consumed during: 160 + 100 + 240 + 200 = 700 cals.

This is 190 cal/ hr. (reasonable)
