I enjoyed it. I am sore.

I guess I'll set some goals. I should be faster than the last time I did this race, b/c last time I was newly pregnancy and had been throwing up every day for several weeks before the race. (I only did aquabike.) I probably won't be as fast as my sprint last fall because I've put on 20 lbs. :( :( :(

Anyway... here are some guesses/goals:

swim <7 min (swim is 650 m with the current, and yesterday current was strong!)

T1 <3 min

bike 1:18 (better goal 1:10)

T2 <2 min

run who knows? let's say 36 min.

overall 2:06 (would be amazed at under 2 hrs!)

open water swim. there was a significant current! Seeing as how I was twice as fast as usual and only swam with the current. This is supposedly the race distance. I don't really believe it's 650 yards, personally. More like 500. But I'm not complaining.

I would have gotten in more swimming if I hadn't been late. But it felt good. No panicking. Breathed good. Sighted good. Sometimes remembered to kick. Accidentally grabbed a guy's bum. Sorry, dude.

UPDATE it was only 400 m!
