Ran the first 4 miles with the wife and the last 5 on my own. Left knee gave me a little trouble again. First time really since I started the glucosamine.

I blew up on this ride. Mental beat down into the wind. Ran out of water and gels. I went through 70oz water and 3 gels. I think I was still dehydrated from the swim. Need make sure I hydrate better after swimming. Still got some good miles in though. It was more like a cyclocross course in on the bike path portion. Trees were down from the storm the day before. One poor guy didn't see one down across the path and went over the bars. He broke his fork right out of the headset!!! I stopped to make sure he was ok. Battered and rashed but he chose to walk the bike home instead of call someone.
Went down to Lake Michigan this morning to get an OWS in.
