Hope today is another great day like yesterday, I didn't get much training in, but i did get a new job as a meat cutter for a local market. I get the rest of this week off to spend with Mattie before school starts next week. I am giving this morning all the help I can. It is a wet and rainy day and I am home with Mattie, so we won't be going outside. While she likes to run and train, she isn't willing to be out in the rain yet, so we will go over to the track later. To help my mood though, I am brewing some true Kona coffee, made from beans sent to me by a friend on the island, that I hold in reserve for really good or really bad days. They are roasted and ground by me to exaclty how I like it, so it should be a good day.

I had a good nights sleep, and average 7 hours. Stress is about the same as usual, all thinks considered. I have an interview Tuesday and will also be meeting with Ed to talk about working as a meat cutter, something I have never done before.
My weight is doing good, I am at 190 lbs, the lowest I have been in almost a year, and my resting hr is good, in the lower 60's, it helps to have low blood pressure.
I have been re-reading "The Complete Runner" from Runner's World. It is amazing how much the running world has changed, and at the same time, stayed the same since it was written in  1974. I just realized the book is as old as I am, and we both still seem to be going strong.
