Beautiful California-esque weather the rest of this week. Which is good for the big 4 family bike ride going on this weekend at the Cannon Falls trail. Looking forward to it...
Easy swim. 25:26 min. 1000 yds total.
WU: 200 yds (3:32, new PR for me 1:46s).
MS: 8 x 50 on 30 sec rest ( 48, 49, 49, 47, 48, 49, 48, 53). Much better day for me...probably because of all the chatting I did between sets. Three other triathletes training this morning. 2 of whom are doing the Square Lake sprint next month. 200 yards of drills (right arm only, left arm only, catch-up, bi-lateral) 4:40. 4 x 25 yards fast with 15 sec rest (23, 25, 27, 26)...not so fast...
CD: 100 yards easy cool down (1:56).

Bike Hill Repeats for lunch on the Lemond at the Ridgedale Y. I like the Lemonds. I can adjust the seat and aero bars to exactly where I ride on my road bike. Strength work. 41 min.
WU: 13 min in Z1-Z2 (137 max).
MS: Then 5 x 2 min up a hill (higher resistance) at 65-70 RPMs. Recover on the downhills. Target HR on the uphills <Z4 (153). Actual max HR 163. Otherwise in Z1-Z2 the rest of the ride (137 max).
CD: 14 min.

Open water form swim w/wetsuit, easy, 31 mins, 1309 yds.
WU: 238 yds warm up in 4:33 (1:55s)
MS: 5 x 119 (east-west, west-east) on 30 sec rest (2:08s, 1:53s, 2:13s, 1:54s, 2:10s--heh, can you tell which way the waves were coming from?). 238 yards of catch-up, well not all 238 yds, but I did the best I could in open water, 2:21s. 100 fast (1:45 whoo hoo--I love wetsuits!).
CD: Then 100 yards easy cool down (2:15s).

I've got bids in for Ultegra cranks and BB, front and rear derailleurs, and a seatpost (this is fun...:)).
Planning on an open water swim with wetsuit after work (1/2 day...last week of summer hours).
