Oh, Right. You have to Swim, Bike AND Run. Huh.

Short term goals

Mostly, just keep moving.

Then move faster.

20m 1093.61 yards -----

Short and sweet.
500m w/u
then:
10x50 on 1 minute.

I was at 47 seconds exactly for each one. Which is really weird.

Sports
Crossfit30m

Sport comments: I no longer have any idea how long I'm working out in the mornings. It's early, it's dark, my sleep patterns suck this week thanks to work etc etc etc.

wu: row plus some stuff
main:
2 min rounds: pull ups/push ups/situps/squats [air]/jump rope.

You just know how much I love a good jump rope.

then back to the erg:
40/20 x 4 (40 sec on, 20 sec off).

Sports
Crossfit30m

Sport comments: W/U
then:

Fight Gone Bad:
3 rounds, 1 min each, w/1 min rest between rounds (so 18 minutes total):
Push Press (40lb)
Row
Wall Ball (14lb OMG I still suck so hard at wall ball)
sumo deadlift high pull (50lb? Maybe? I don't know, it just hurt)
Box Jump

My head was spinning by the end of this workout. Ouch.

48m ----------

Wow. This sucked. You know, in that awesome way.

Ran to Capitol, appx 14 minutes.

Then:
6x 400m on 90 sec rest. Luckily east Stanton - the block just after 3rd street, is just about .25 miles if you do the three sides. So that worked out.
Had to keep each time within 5 seconds.

1: 1:30
2: 1:28
3: 1:27
4: 1:33
5: 1:37 (Ha. haaaaaa. HA. Ouch)
6: 1:33

Apparently, doing long slow distance for 5+ years is wokring against me for this stuff. This sucked, like, a lot. a LOT. I def wanted to throw up at multiple points.

This must be what Mike feels like when swimming.

Then ran home, nice and easy

30m ----------

Hey, look at that. I found the pool.

Awesome swim. First time in the pool since July. HA.

Ok, lets see...

500ish w/u... some drills, some straight swimming. By the end of this wu i was fairly convinced I was going to die a horrible death in the pool.

Main:
1x 400 on 4 min rest
2x 200 on 2 min rest
3x 100 on 1 min rest

Each all out.

Mike and I did this together and while SOMEONE decided to make the 400 a 450 (AHEM), besides that it was awesome. Swimming is the only sport that MIke and I are equally matched at (although depending on the season I might be better), and we are both equally out of swimming shape, so we were able to push each other exactly right for this w/o. I didn't want to let him beat me, and same for him, so we ended up racing each set and then basically dying at the end.

The differences in us as swimmers is this: for the w/u, I felt horrible and like I was going to die; by the last 100 I felt awesome and was all "oooh, I'm a swimmer again!". For him, he felt great at the beginning but than wanted to die at the end.

ANYWAY. then we cooled down.

Will upload times as soon as I figure out how to get the lap data off my watch. Spoiler: we're slow.

My OTHER grandmother is in the hospital now. Damn, this is going to be a hard holiday season.
