the garmin didn't want to work this morning, so I just did a 15 minute out and back.
This run blew. Crunchy knee, really tired, dyhydrated. {{whine}} But ya know, it's 60 degrees at 6am in January, so eff it, I'm going running anyway. Glad I got out there -- it was a really beautiful morning, even if the run was a complete suck ball.
It makes me laugh that just a month ago I ran 31 miles, and today this 30 minutes makes me want to curl up into ball. I know it's not comparable (a 6am work week run vs a race I trained for), but still: funny/pathetic.
Abs, pushups, etc. A little stretching. My hamstrings are SO TIGHT from yoga on Sunday! It is unreal.

Short little run this AM. It's warm out!!
My knee is not quite ready for this. It's healing very weird -- def a little deformed relative to the other knee. It's cool in the sense that I get fascinated by scars and bruises and icky things like that, but weird in the sense that it's my knee... and I kind of need that to work properly.
Abs, pushups.
Felt really good to be up early and moving. I really love knocking out a workout first thing in the AM and then heading out for the day. I know I'm suppose to be "not training", but seriously, I'm so much happier when I can get something w/o related early in the day.

Not the best way to kick my cold. Went for a super chilly (and slow!) ride with the tri club. Down MacAurther to Great Falls and back. DayQuil lasted most of the ride, now I need: kleenex, water, dayquil, blankie and nap.
