Masters swim with Peluso. WU, then a bunch of sets of drills and swims.
After almost a full week of being sick, I feel I'm finally recovered enough to start working hard. My official 30 week training doesn't start for two weeks still, so I erred a bit on the side of taking the time off to fully recover. I did try to swim on Thursday morning, and that was a mistake. Even this morning's swim started out rough, but I was able to push through the entire workout. I did however not go for my long run this weekend. I felt like I certainly could have put in the miles this afternoon, but instead I gave myself a break. Hopefully by giving myself a break I minimized the overall impact of my illness.

Ran from office to east entrance of West Creek Parkway. Beautiful sunny day. Hard to believe it's early February.
Masters swim. Lots of catch drills. Did lots of "mega catchup" which is a nice drill for isolating the catch.
