I ran very well... legs and feet felt good... there is something near my ankle... just a tic... I need to think about that right now on every run...

Good ride on a beautiful 70 degree November day... I love Global Warming (insert sarcasm here). Very windy... the 21 miles home were brutal... mostly a direct head wind the whole way.

Man... I didn't even shower before bed last night... being single is great (lol)! I was sooo worked... I had a chill in my bones... the only drink besides tap water in my house was some 3.2 Moosehead beers... I had a couple of those and watched two great movies. 1. Blood Diamond starring Leonardo DeCaprio set during Sierra Leone's bloody civil war and largely about the exploitation of African people for the world's (mostly American) desire for shiny rocks... I enjoyed that one... 2. A quirky but very well done documentary called, "I Like Killing Flies", about a Greenwich Village rinky dink restaurant and its surly philosophical chef and owner who only care's about his "regulars" and "YOU AIN'T a regular..." Also, "No parties of 5! Even if you split into two parties (of 2 and 3) you are still a party of 5 so you can't be served... rules are rules! If you come back tomorrow by yourself, you will still be a party of 5... you will always be a party of 5..." and so forth! Very cool movie! Loved it... On tap for today? I don't know. It is beautiful. I might hop on my bike and spin down to Chatfield Res... NO RUNNING DIME! Be sure to wear clean underwear! You never know... Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

OMG! I am an old drunk man who has no business trying to run! God this was hard... I really didn't think I could finish this one! Thank goodness Ze've rode his MTN bike and chatted with me the whole way! I ran the single slowest mile that I can remember running on mile 17... 9:31! I will redeem myself on next week's 20 miler... and I won't be all hung over either...

On the positive note... this marks my 5th 20 miler in this marathon training cycle (only 1 more to go)... I have logged 150 miles in two weeks... however I'm feeling it and I will rest accordingly...

Nice run at my projected marathon race pace... My HR stayed in zone 2 until I pushed it on the last 1/2 mile...

I'm not feeling very well today... The start of a cold I think... OJ, OJ, OJ! Driving down the road the other day, I saw something new: Scooter Butt! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Answer to yesterday's question: First though... Everyone but REGIMOM got it wrong (regimom cheated)... This tells me a lot about my friends on BT... They are mostly illiterate unless they are reading training manuals and blogs! LOL. The pissers are in the old Lowenstein Theater across from East High School which is the new home of the Tattered Cover Book Store (a Denver Landmark).

Ran with Tania Pavec at Waterton Canyon... Nice and easy... Beautiful day...

276 miles logged Running in October... one of my biggest months of running ever... 2 more hard weeks to go before the taper leading up to Dec. 2nd - The California Marathon... Oh, and I would like to brag about my great race in Moab... but JuliaPurr is sick of it and suggested that I get over it! So I have decided not to recap the race report today... I'm blogging at 11:45PM because I finally got my run in...

Anyhoo... this was the first time since winter that I have run in long pants, long shirt a beanie, gloves and fleece vest... it was nice

Slowed it down a bit and just enjoyed another beautiful day here in Denver! Great tunes... ahh...

So I found this interesting... using the race time predictor at www.runningforfitness.org I found out that my marathon training is right on pace to run a sub 2:50 marathon! I punched in my age and 2:50 mary and my times are slightly faster than the predicted times at other distances compared to the chart avg of the most common prediction formula's! another cool thing is that based on the weight performance chart... if I lost 4 lbs, theoretically I could drop up to 4 minutes from my predicted time! I do plan on racing somewhere around 135-137 (currently 140lbs). Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
