22nd race completed so far this year! 3rd in the last 7 days, so I am sure I could have been faster on rested legs.

Second fastest bike split today. Very hilly TT course. My average was under 22 mph at the turnaround.

Very pleased with this. I was about 30" slower than the fastest bike split so this was huge!

First run since the trail race on Sunday. My Quads are still very sore. Hopefully by tomorrow's race they will be somewhat better. And, by Sunday's race, ready to scream. Positive thoughts

Although this was a brick, my transition was about 15-20 minutes so maybe technically it is not a brick. I don't know.

Still feeling sore in my quads! Better, but sore. I'll not run again today. I'm thinking of running the Firecracker 10K trail run in Breckenridge on Friday if my running sticks recover. It may be my only run this week besides the run leg of the sprint triathlon that I'm doing in Cheyenne on Sunday - YEE HA, Giddee up, pardner! Feared outlaw, Dick Dime, is rolling into town and his six shooter is locked and loaded! There will be blood in my quest for gold. Don't worry ladies, I'll have time for you!

RACE REPORT IS UP! I'm very sore after yesterday's pounding!I haven't felt this worked after a race in a long time. June was awesome: 7 races completed - most ever in a month for me and some great results. Yesterdays 1st place in AG at the USATF Trail Running Championships was just icing on the cake. June: 7 races 1x 1st place overall 4x 1st in AG 1x 2nd in AG 1x 3rd in AG 1x 8th in AG 6/7x top ten overall finish And yesterday's finale: USATF 12K (40-44 AG) champion.
