First ride in over a week. Albeit on the fixed gear as it is the only bike I have as my new beautiful bicycle - Argon 18 - is in the shop again do to brakes that have always rubbed the wheels since the day I bought it (only 3000 miles with multiple bike shop adjustments). I will say that Argon 18 is doing the right thing and working with my bike shop and sending an entirely new brake system so I am hopeful that it finally works properly. Two dismal bike leg results in an olympic and a 1/2 ironman because of this.

Ran this a week ago and took a few minutes off.

Elevation gain 1962 feet

I dubbed this run "The Jerker Run" in honor of Scott Jurek who has won countless ultra marathons with injuries. Initially I almost bailed because the tops of my toes were badly blistered... but like "The Jerker" after I ran for a while I forgot about the pain.
