5 weeks ago I was in the hospital for 5 days. I was hit by a car on a training ride (again)... Recovery has been slow and extremely painful... Today I went for a run. Granted my running sticks protested but I managed 4 miles. I have humbly taken my first steps of resuming ironman training. I still have a long way to go, but it is on. Yeah!

improvements continue

big news: I got the ok to try some easy biking. two weeks ago I couldn't complete a single full revolution on the bike trainer... today 15 minutes at 100+ rpm's... I am very pleased. I ordered a new bike and I am waiting for it to arrive so if I do ride, it will be on my fixie. I can't wait!
