I came home early from work today (still sick from last night, GI issues). But I went for a mountain bike ride with Bonnie and Lisa. We went ot the Ant Hills, had a blast. Untill my tire blew so hard that the side wall has a hole about the size of a quarter. This was about 2 1/2 miles into the ride, so I ran, with the bike on the trails back to the car, got a good workout anyway.

Today's swim was good, water was very cool and refreshing.

I good workout, lots of people tonight. Bonnie and I met Luke and Kylie, Jim, Tammy, Lisa & Micheal (Cmikul).
Bonnie and I rode 20 miles together, then ran a 5 miler together too. It is nice to have a (training partner) that is equal in all areas of this sport. About 2 miles into the run I started having some GI issues and had to stop for a few mins, thank God for facilities in the park!!!
This was a good workout with some people with old friends and new.

Plan for today:
OW swim at Twin LakesDoneWe did 2 loops around the lake. The first loop we stopped a few times at the buoys, and to talk to some other swimmers. I did not stop the timer while we stopped, so that is wht the time was a bit slow.
The second time around we did it nonstop. We also put our Garmins in our swim caps (keeps them out of the water so the GPS still syncs up) for the second loop. It is about 1/2 mile around the lake if you stay on the outside of ALL of the buoys.
It was good to get one more OW wetsuit swim in before Lonestar 1/4 next week....
Let the taper for Lonestar begin!!!
