Swimming went more quickly than expected. My avg lap for the 4 x 5min was 53.75s. That's fine and I'll take it. I was trying to concentrate on keeping my head still and keep my pull long and even. I was also thinking about keeping the recovering arm nice and loose. That's too many things to think about.

Running felt strong. I'm not sure that the times are totally accurate b/c the Garmin 310xt can do some strange things when you run a small track. It does a better job GPS wise when you run in a straight line somewhere, not around an oval. I was trying to do 2 x 10min with 3minZ2, 3minZ3, 4minZ4. Roughly speaking that's 10min/9min/8min per mile. I was incredibly close to that goal.

Apparently I punched it in the face on the run without even knowing it. I wish that I would have hit the lap button on the second time around so I would be able to differentiate the speed I was going at a bit better. I can ballpark it from the graph though. The #s don't lie. I was over 22mph for the 10min hard. Oh this should be a good race indeed. I'm going to give some credit to the new RS80s I have on the bike. First time I've ridden on them and they're rock solid.

Solid brick data today Kupo. The hurricane was a non event around these parts, so I was able to get the run in outside. It was too windy to bike outside. I'm concerned that the workout peak plan that I have in mind for the next couple of weeks prior to my A race is going to be difficult to pull off with the travel that I'm doing. I need to spend a little time tonight or tomorrow figuring out how to make it all work. I am looking forward to having a great effort at the race. I really want to finish 10mins faster than last year.
