Just a reminder to those of you in the western upstate NY area. July 28th is the Ride for Independence. Chose from different distances 15, 31, 62 (100K). Lots of climbing, lunch, swimming, hiking and fun. Rest stops, SAG, vehicles, prizes for fun raising including a Silver Membership. Check it out at http://thompsonhealth.com/rfi/rideforindepencence.htm.
Slept well and resting well. I feel like a caged dog with this tapering. I'm suppose to off today but tonight is the only time I can get a OWS in.
Yvonne bet me it was too hot to get two ice cream cones from Byrne Dairy without a drip. Ha I did it. The trick is to run the air full out on the way there and run to get the cones then turn the air on low only on the floor. It's the blowing air that melts the cone not the temp.

Steady state. On the trainer. Yeah the trainer. Bike working well.
Well I was cleaning the bike last. You know if you can't be fast at least look good. Low and behold there is a broken spoke on the rear wheel. Not easy side, the gear side. I was thinking I should have a few spokes to go. I'll beg Al to fix it so I can get some saddle time today.
Al said it would be done this evening. Nice to have a good local bike shop. Especially one that likes the older classic bikes.
Bike all better.

easy spin like the training says
Y went shopping for house gifts for the friends we are staying at. She loves that stuff. We all had our head shrunk last night. Rough session. We do need a weekend off. Willie opened up some. He would like Y and me to make life decisions. So be it.
