        Amazing difference on the new Kurt Kinetic Fluid trainer...I concentrated on the same effort I used on the Nashbar Fluid trainer when i was at 19mph between 82 to 86 rpm's. On this Kurt Kinetic trainer I had to drop down 2 gears and was at 15.2 to 16mph between 82 to 86 rpm's.. My HR was up higher too..
        Very smooth machine....Its just going to take me longer to do my planned miles. A more honest road like ride....

        I am going to go back to all my trainer rides as far as I can and recalculate them at this pace of 15.5...

          Guessing the pace,,no GPS..tried the Garmin but the battery goes low too fast. Silly Gadgets. What ever happened to the old days when timing a somewhat measured route was the norm. I think I know my pace well enough on a run to guess what it is and just decide an amount of time to run and figure the distance,,it's what I had done for years and was close enough.....When I get the Timex replacement, I'll give it a go again, but it's going to be the last one I think. Can't keep spending money on GPS devices..more on running shoes and bicycle tires.
