monon - few drills - mostly laps w/bouy.
Dr. visit #2 = shingles = pain can linger for 2 more months = NUTS! = medication prescribed for nerve pain is ???? and I may not take - I will try the topical capsaicin rub, recommended by the doctor ---as it just makes the nerves mad-and potentially alleviates the pain.......will see????
Not being able to ride is intolerable - I will do what I can to get back in the saddle.

Unable to get to pool at 5am with back/lack of sleep issues. If I take the codeine - I sleep ok - but hung over when I wake=does not help swimming at 5am. Try to swim Friday-either in AM if able or at lunch? Called doctor - Q plan? next? pain lessening - but still there-and moving....

XC 5k easy - ran warm down as fast - not on purpose - 3k. Northview course is a good XC course- challenging hills, nice layout. easy on the legs!
