walked - used pull cart due to back. 85 PRun. so-so...use core to overide rt side/back pain.

Tried riding mtb around neighborhood - rt/back hurt - no way to eliminate the pain once it starts. I'm going to try the road bike Tues - need to ride!!

Dr. visit #2 = shingles = pain can linger for 2 more months = NUTS! = medication prescribed for nerve pain is ???? and I may not take - I will try the topical capsaicin rub, recommended by the doctor ---as it just makes the nerves mad-and potentially alleviates the pain.......will see????

 Not being able to ride is intolerable - I will do what I can to get back in the saddle.

Unable to get to pool at 5am with back/lack of sleep issues. If I take the codeine - I sleep ok - but hung over when I wake=does not help swimming at 5am. Try to swim Friday-either in AM if able or at lunch? Called doctor - Q plan? next? pain lessening - but still there-and moving....
