Evening run with Slammer. Faster than expected for the RPE. Felt good.
Good run, thinking about the race on Sunday for a goal to go for. My main idea is just to go balls to the walls and consider it too easy if I don't puke at the end
. Not really, or maybe, but you get the idea. So I'm thinking of trying for 22mph avg on the bike and setting the 910xt virtual pacer to 9:30 min/mile which would be a PR run speed for any of my races.
So I'm thinking (roughly):
600 meter swim: 10:30
12 mile bike: 33
5k run: 29
Total: 1:12 plus 4-5 for transitions 1:17 or so?
Might be pushing it a bit on that time but like I said balls to the walls!!

Didn't get a run in with Slammer this morning snoozed my way through it so ran him tonight... I forgot how much he LOVES running in the rain.

Mile2: 8:54
A vast improvement over usual times.

Morning Run with Slammer, tried to make it a 5k but I guess I shortened up the course a bit on the return
Was supposed to be 6x500. Did ok first 500 then kind of fell apart and couldn't stay in the groove. Elbow started bothering me mid way through 3 500 and after the 4th just felt spent so called it. Guessing I'm just tired but not happy with myself on it.
