Another spin session. I swear I'm gonna ride my real bike soon. Just been fighting the darkness after work since I get out when it's already starting to get twilighty.
My last day of being 37.

Spin session. Had to cut it short, had to go teach a CF session.
I swung some different size KB's while moderating a CF WOD at CrossBoot. I managed to one-arm-swing a 44lb KB 10 times with each arm! I almost fell over the first time.

Recovery run. VERY slow to start out, but then I was able to open it up a bit. My first mile pace was in the 9's until almost the last 400m. Then I loosened up a bit. My second mile was under 8 minute pace. Felt good to get out and just open up my legs a bit tonight.

Got stranded in Chicago due to weather yesterday. Took 5 hours of delays to get out of Toronto. UGH.
No workouts today obviously.
Really having a hard time resolving this long course issue in my head. I should have qualified by more than one minute! Now I have nothing. I'm trying to make myself believe that it's a clue from the universe that it's time for me to focus on other things. Ultras. Duathlon world championships. Triathlon age group nationals. CrossFit competitions. Boston will always be there. I guess that dream of being the guy who ran it 30 years in a row will have to die for now. I was only 4 years in, it's not like I can't start again.
