Today, Whit and I decided to try a workout neither of us had either heard of or even thought of before. I came VERY close to puking on the last run.
ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME

50 KB snatch (25 each arm) (25# KB)
50 Med ball slams (15# ball)
50 rows (40# cable)
Run 800m
40 KB swings (45#)
40 pullups
40 push press (75# barbell)
Run 1200m
30 ring pushups
30 hang power cleans
30 wall ball (15# ball)
Run 1 mile
20 DB thrusters (2 x 25#)
20 plate clean and jerk (35#)
20 KB push press (2 x 25#)

Traveling box jumps (10 in 7 stations) 70 total
Run cone drills...side steps, short sprints, slaloms, etc.

(5 pushups every minute)

Again, so much running in the sports today. My feet and the rest of my body are trashed.

Another game of kickball (shorter this time) and SIX games of volleyball...my body is ready to collapse. I didn't do my long run today, but I think I worked WAY harder. My legs are spaghetti.

Just an estimate of ALL the crazy running I was doing all day...running after balls (hehe...shut up Ty) running bases, running around the complex, running up the water slide ladder...you name it.

Tonight's workout was ALOT of sprinting in between the exercises. OUCH.

First done (yay!) at 9:40...and I beat ALL the people from the AM class too, and their runs were shorter.
WOD:
1. 10 min. AMRAP of:
10 alternating KB swings (25#)
10 step up with hop, right
10 setup up with hop, left
10 plyo lunges
10 ab roller
160m run
I got 4 rounds complete...did 10 plyo lunges in round 5.
2. 10 min AMRAP of:
10 burpees
10 goblet squat with KB (25#)
10 legups
10 plyo pushups
50 jumpropes
I did 5 complete rounds, and I did 8 plyo pushups to start round 6.
This was a tough one...especially since I'd had nothing to eat since noon and it was 97 degrees at the start of the workout!
Feeling a lot better today. I still didn't wanna get out of bed though.

PM - I wound up skipping my workout. I had absolutely no desire to even TRY to work out. My body was just tired.
AM -I feel incredibly run down today. I haven't really done much this week, but my body feels like I've been working out like a maniac. Maybe it was the 344 burpees I did the other night at CrossFit.
I have speed work to do tonight, so thankfully it's a short workout day. I wanna swim. Maybe I'll do that too. I've really been missing the pool, swimming has become more than just a workout, it's definitely an escape lately...relaxing and refreshing.

Feet First run club. Ran with Tim and Jereme. VERY hot...93 degrees at start. Once the sun went down it was better, but on the return trip the wind was at our backs so the decreased heat didn't really seem so, since we had no breeze.
I went to CrossBoot tonight after the Feet First run club just to do the main WOD.
10 complexes, 2 rounds
1 minute of each exercise in round 1, 30 sec rest after each complex
30 sec of each exercise in round 2, 15 sec rest after each complex
1. Plate curls/Donkey kicks
2. Tricep extensions/Mtn climbers
3. Pushouts/pushups
4. Around the head left/jumping jacks
5. Around the head right/straight leg toe kicks
6. Oblique crunch left/plank alternating leg crunch
7. Oblique crunch right/heel touches
8. Front raise/(oops, I forgot)
9. Russian twist/legups
10. Weighted squat/high knees
This was a pretty good workout! Just what I needed...sweaty but not too heavy or intense!
