VO2 Max.
Sort of cheated on this one as I gave myself a longer break between intervals since I was running on the road and not the track and only knew where my mile markers were.
2.1 mile warm up
1 mile interval - 5:55 (generally flat with a tailwind)
1 mile easy
1 mile interval - 6:35 (the "brutal mile" - all uphill and headwind)
1 mile easy
1 mile interval - 6:01 (net downhill but with headwind)
1.1 warm down to get home.

Main Set:
1 x 300 (:20 rest)
2 x 200 (:15 rest)
1 x 300
c/d - 100 moderate
All I had time for. But I'm really happy to see some progression with the swimming! Makes all the yards worth it. Now I just need to translate the effort into a race-time situation!
Absolutely f'ing pissed yesterday. I left at 4:30 from work to come home and ride, but there was a big accident on I-95 in my direction and it took me over an hour and a half to get home. So it was after 6 and I couldn't get my ride in with the rest of the stuff we needed to get done for house life. Very not happy about that ....... especially since that is the last nice day for at least a week (40's for the next week or so).
Only good thing is that I had Mir take some pics of my position on the Transition so that I can do a before and after with it and the Felt once I get it built up. I'll post those up today probably.

1000 yard TT - 18:47 (1:53 pace) - new PR!!!!!
5 x 100 moderate. (Averaged around 1:48).
I think this "swim lots" thing is working! I knocked a minute off of my PR for 1,000 yards from last year, and was still able to follow it up with 5 good 100's.
Woohooo!!
Team Gu stuff just arrived! Mir called and let me know it was here (as well as our new carpets for the family room and my new exhaust for the Prelude - Buddy Club Pro Spec stainless model. You didn't know, but I was big into the Import scene for years before getting back into athletic endeavors - I did most of my own work on my cars).

Medium-long
6+ loops at Centennial. Just an average run, not great, not bad. A little fatigued. Pushed the pace on the last two miles as usual. Cloudy and cool, but I got the run in before the rain came (supposed to be later today).
Happy birthday to my littlest bug!! Aiden Thomas Carter, 1 year old today!!! :)
(And no, that's not an April Fool's joke).

GASP! What's this?? A rest day??? ;)
Going to work on the Felt, take the oldest to an Easter egg hunt (should be easy to find colored eggs in the WHITE SNOW ON THE GROUND .........) and blow shit up playing Command and Conquer 3.
On the house front ...... we are going to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General to get the builder in deep shit since we still haven't resolved the money issues. Hopefully with threatened jail time and huge fines they'll drop trying to go after the 42k we withheld from them for the last payment.
