Usual out and back. Crazy windy of course, in my face on the return leg. Knee started to bother me and I finally just told it to f-ck off and cut the bullshit and wouldn't you know it, by the time I got home it wasn't bothering me anymore. Mind over matter I guess! ;)

Out and back loop with 6 x 100 strides mixed in. Pretty warm out actually (around 60) because it was misty and windy with a front coming through.

Didn't drink a lot last night, but it was wine, which usually makes me "achey" in all my joints. And then to get up at 5:10 so I could go to the other bar thing for the radio station (which I didn't win the trip) was rough. Ate some of the free breakfast and had a Guinness. Then got to work at 9.
What is the fun of being hungover when you weren't really that drunk???

Tried not to lolligag these. Pushed the 100 hard for a 1:28. Wanted to originally do more, but had to wait over 10 minutes for a lane to open. Then after the 500 the pool was almost empty! Go figure ....

2 of the bigger loops around the hood. Tried to keep a nice pace. Left knee started to flare up again around 4 miles in, but just kept the pace. Actually second lap was about :10 faster than first. Felt good to move a little faster than I have been lately ....

Something was all wrong with my heart today. By the 50 point of each regular 100 it was really hard to get any sort of oomph out of my stroke and my HR was through the roof! At the end of each one I was winded and weak. I checked my HR after one and it was close to 280 bpm ..... Super fast, super shallow and skipping all over the map.
I think I want to go to a doc. and test for Lyme Disease ... intuition says I need to do it .....
