Getting the house and yard ready for a small family barbecue tomorrow. My family will be coming over along with a few friends. Gotta cut the grass and clean the house.
We saw Indy 4 last night. It was alright, about what I expected after reading various reviews. Good flick for thrills and entertainment. No Oscar material though. ;)
No ride. Just taking care of things around the house so that it is presentable for tomorrow.
Gonna rename my log "The Year of the Slacker."

Could only fit a quick workout in with having to be at the kid's school for the race for education.

5 x 100 on 2:00
Okay swim, but short obviously. Able to hit all my splits on schedule.
Race For Education
Paced the oldest as he did laps at the school for his yearly "Race For Education" that the whole school does. He did great the first 1/2 hour, then started to fade and had some walking mixed in while I always continued to jog. But he did do 20 laps, which is 2 more than last year!! The little bug kicked azz!

Had to be in PA for a meeting at 10, so left home at 7. No workout this morning. Just got back into the office and it is 2:30 ..... Stressed because of other project that is going out for settlement so they have all these drawing and spec. issuing requirements to a bunch of different people for closing. Pain in the azz part of being an architect .....
I want to ride when I get home, but legs are tired and achey and it is windy as hell. Maybe just go for a relaxed recovery run.
Nothing .... life continues to get in the way .....

Loop through Columbia and Laurel and back home (usual one I did last year but reversed) on Sonia.
Got lucky in that it did not rain and the sun peaked out for a bit. But it was still cloudy and windy which along with the hills kept the average down a little ...... oh and that race thing I did this weekend certainly didn't have any effect on it. ;-P

Average swim (Monday is more drill day now). Felt pretty good and not sore at all in the legs. A little tired, but nothing hurts.
