Provo Canyon/Vivian & back
Nice ride with Mark and Craig today. Pushed it in a couple sections, but overall, was a pretty easy-paced ride. Bit of a headwind (as always) on the way back down, but didn't seem to affect the pace. We had a nice little sprint about 16 mi in, instigated by Mark, to pass a slow car, where we got to try out some nice acceleration and speed. It was fun. We'll have to do it all over again on Wednesday! Running Tuesday.

Sunday Dinner Run
Needed to get in a longer run this weekend, so I decided to run to my in-laws (instead of the usual drive) for dinner. Was a good run, but was tough because of a ~10mph headwind for most of the run. Fortunately, the terrain gives plenty of downhill, and only a couple of climbs. Ended up with a great average pace, so I feel pretty good about it. Ride tomorrow.

Run
Tired legs this morning (or lazy). My vacation last week may have affected my run a bit, or it may just be the wild 13 miler I did in the middle of my vacation with no prep before. Either way, my run felt a little more labored this morning. I wound my pace back on the last half of my run to make it more comfortable. Must have been running too fast, because my pace didn't end up looking too bad ;) Anyway, it felt good to loosen up the legs and get in a run before the rain comes today.

Ride
Went for a ride in the morning to tack some mileage on before the end of the month. Still need a whole lot more miles, but not sure I'm going to get much more in before the end of the month. Need to build my mileage up significantly before June, and especially before September if I'm going to be comfortable with LOTOJA (assuming I get in). I want to do about 2500-3000 miles this year, or at least 2000 (pretty sure I'll easily do that if I'm training right), so that means my running may be cut back to make room for the cycling. We'll see how the plan unfolds.
