Good news bad news. Plan was to do 3 loops around 7 hills for a total of 16 miles. I only did two loops and a total of 12 miles. With the race 2 weeks away and the way my body has felt the last few days I thought it would be better to under do it than over do it. The good news about this is a very very low HR for the run. Legs have felt fatigued, a good fatigued like they are getting stronger. Just hope I do the right things so I'm well rested come the 2nd.
Last week was one of my biggest training weeks ever almost 25 hrs of SBR, this week significantly less and next week will be close to this week or a little less.
Have a 10k or really Pam has a 10k next Sat. I'm signed up but plan to do an easy warm up before the race, run with Pam the first couple of miles then run at HIM race pace for two miles then slow way the f down for the last two....... yeah, having people pass me in the last two miles will be challenge in of it's self. Big Picture :)
Here is my Race Prediction for Honu 70.3, 40 min swim, 3:30 bike and 2 hr run. 4 mins total for transitions.
