Oh my goodness!!! Great freakin run.

got up 5 am. Ate PB & Honey uncrustable on WW. at 6:30 am had 1/2 banana and a couple pretzels. Got out right before 7 am. Ran 20 minutes walked 1-2 minutes the entire way. After 1st and 2nd hour had gel: accel gel...it is the protein/carb mix, no caffeine. new gel for me. Loved it. chocolate (can I say cake batter?) and strawberry/kiwi. On the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hour mark I had an eltrolyte tab and about 3 pretzels. I flew up the mountains. My legs felt some fatigue fowards the end but no major cramps or pains. Drinking a post recovery drink now. Stretched good.

I had good music playing but the last 2 miles I switch to a worship CD of my friend. Josh Groben meets Andrew Loyd Webber. There were these two songs...man I got chills, I felt like I was at the throne of heaven and I never hit mile 14 and 15 so well. I actually finished and felt I had more to give.

I think nutrition played a big part (thanks Janelle, pretty much followed your ideas)...oh and the weather helped lots. It was cold in morning and sun just coming up.

Meeting the g8rs at airport to get my glasses I left behind before they head to cavu9 in memphis (my contacts killing me with allergies right now).

swim later today after back to back to back to back meetings. I hate month end.

by the way, can't wait to post photos wendi took last week. wait until you see my new avatar..me on bekka's bke (uh yeah she is 6). And I wear the same size shoes as her!

thunderstorm and pouring rain last mile and then gave up, it was hurting my face it came down so hard.

fyi, I check mileage. It IS exactly 1 mile!!! mark said he can't believe how much better I am running!

was supposed to swim but closed pool for lightening. will do tomorrow.

 good and bad day at work. great meetings. good money coming in. obnoxious email from a board member who just is rude sometimes. ugh.

bible study good but my cutie pie out of town. oh well :)

little trail running today with a friend at the lake...much harder when you have to worry about the terrain. Running with my fast friend tomorrow

wow I am busy.

I flew in mid monday and worked until 9:30 pm. I came in yesterday early to get out early and no such luck. didn't get home until 8 pm and I fell asleep on couch with my dinner 1/2 eaten and never worked out.

I have my running gear with me and planning on doing 6 miles today. I have to say my legs feel great. How crazy but my legs are less sore from the 20 mile run than when I did the 1/2 mary a few weeks ago...I guess running all those extra miles since helped! Coach has me doing a 15 miler this weekend...will try for better nutrition.

fyi, Kylie is doing ok these days but very very tired. All the chemo catching up I guess. But she is busy making bracelets for me to bring to MCM and IMFL....

There was a guy next to me and I was pushing to beat him on my fasts and after he was like: dang you are fast!!..he didn't know he was my motivation to be faster!

I am back in Nashville!

Swim and run scheduled and I have a training to do! Yowza! And gotta pick up Eli!!

Had fun in florida with the g8tr's!!! thanks folks for playing with me too!
