meetings all morning. slammed at work. Yesterday my left shoulder blade a little sore, swam last night..no big deal and woke up today and can barely move it and my neck. Ugh...trying to get to chiropracter and massage therapist today.

Got up to bike but it was pooring rain and it doesn't look like it is clearing. I need a trainer. May have to bike at gym.

Went to chiropracter. did EMS, adjustment and his funny jap. kinesos taping. He said no bike or swim tonight just walk or job. So I walked with Eli.

Prays to all today for those who affected by 9/11. Man the memories come flooding back. I worked at a church 45 minutes outside of NYC and many in our church worked in WTC (I had actually been there 5 days before the attack). And with our cells phones not working, all we could do was pray and wait for spouses/loved ones to come off the train one by one. We lost 3 members that day and many others had horrifying stories. Everyone in the area knew someone who died that day. And my cousin was a volunteer rescue fireman and said the rescue changed his life forever. And I will never forget flying over NYC 1 week later and still seeing the smoke. Ugh. I don't care about the politics of it all...It was just a very sad day, but those of us who know how busy WTC was, know that it was some sort of miracle 3x the number of people were not in the building yet.

I have a 2 hr bike scheduled. Have to go speak at a church first for my job. ok it has been thunder/lightening ever since I got home from church so bike ride out. (no trainer sigh).

But I did complete the darn 2 hr online driver safety course (to undo my speeding ticket)...watched a movie at the same time :) and got 24 of 25 right on test (yeah, didn't really read one of the questions).

ok maybe running 15 miles 6 days after a 1/2 mary was a reach :)

I got up late so by the time I placed my water bottles every two miles I was out for the run at 11 am. Hot, humid. I stayed at an even 11 min mile pace thru mile 10 and felt good but hot and sticky. I never had so much salt build up on my legs/face before and my clothes soaking wet. Ice melted and most of water bottles were kinda warm. I just flat out bonked at 10 miles. I had nothing left in my legs. They just stopped. My heart rate was 150 so that wasn't a huge problem. I just had no mojo. Walked for 3 miles (ran for a few minutes each mile, felt good and then bonk..dead again). It was the weirdest bonk. At mile 13 I was praying about what to do...crap I had to walk another 2 miles and I had an appt I was going to be late for...didn't plan to be out more than 3 hrs...just then a neighbor pulled out, asked if I was ok, (he said I didn't look so hot :)) and for the first time I just said :hey can you take me home...I am done". I am not too worried. I just think a lot of miles after the 1/2 mary and not feeling good for 2 days. And I was happy with my pace until the bonk. I think I can hang onto that comfortably for MCM.

Went running with my donor friend. wow I did a 9 min mile, then 10, then 10:30. Yeah me! I was dead. we walked the 4th mile. Concert rocked tonight! 1,000 people showed up and the bands were awesome! And the money goes to our clinic!

Thanks for the love ladies! It is an old habit worrying about my weight. When you are under 5 ft the a little extra is so unforgiving and frankly my dad and my brothers teased me so much as a kid about my ghetto booty it is just hard to erase that sometimes.

At the office, got my running clothes on. doing a lite 3 mile run with my donor pal in a little while then have a concert tonight. (there is a christian group: Selah that is doing a benefit concert for us).

Felt fluid in the pool except had my old speedo goggles and they kept leaking and my eyes were burning a lot. But folks. I drank LOTS of water today and took your advice, peed like crazy and burped like crazy after I got out of the pool and low and behold, 4 pounds lighter on the scale (I know I am obsessed). So maybe all my pains was built up gas too?

Well I still feel pains in my chest and stomach but not as bad so I am just going to eat bland food for a few days and see what happens. I am just not a go to doctor person unless I really have to. But here is the freaky thing. The scale says I gained 5 pounds since last thursday. I just can't see that I ate 17,000 extra calories in 5 days. That's it. Liquid diet shakes for a week. I worked over a month to take off 5 pounds and gained it back in 5 days. It sucks being short and a woman sometimes.

I did laundry last night and I think my running shoes are ruined. They stink to high heaven and they are now outside airing out with baking soda. Dang! :)

I AM swimming this afternoon. No matter what!!!

Gosh the pain in my chest/ab area is killing me. I swear it is feeling like an ulcer. chicken broth tonight. No swim. It even hurts when I breathe. Maybe I will walk later.

I am swimming later today. My stomach is still killing me. Lots of pain last night. Maybe it is just 5 days of eating out?
