Track workout with the final 1 mile time trial. Had a hastey warm up running to the track as I was late. I had to run alone after the group but one of the rabbits paced me on my first and third lap. Ran my fastest 1/4 ever at 73 seconds. Finished at 5:43. Best of the year. The first lap took it right out of me but it was fun to run fast on that lap being paced. Not to wax poetic but there is this peaceful rhythm to it.

October 15
Drove to Michigan last night for niece baptism. Was out of radio range for the 9th inning of the Tiger game. Caught the minutes right after Mags homer. How sweet was that. Am I a sucker for tearing up every time I see that replay? I caught a great replay on The Detroit Tigers Weblog where someone synced up the video and the Tiger radio broadcast. Really cool stuff if you're a Tiger fan.

Supposed to be a race pace run this morning but I ran a track workout last night and the legs didn't quite have to juice for the last three miles. Still pretty happy with the workout.
